We are the new owners of the condo "La Ropa Nido" which is located at the complex, La Casa Que Ve Al Mar in Zihuatanejo. The apartment is #502 A. We feel that you will fall in love with the view as soon as you walk in the door. It is hard to imagine, the pictures don't do it justice, but you will also be able to hear the waves at La Ropa beach "Playa La Ropa". This is a two bedroom, two bathroom unit. Both of the bathrooms are located in the bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a king bed, new overhead fan, plenty of closet space, an air conditioner and a new terrace with a view of the bay. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, new overhead fan, plenty of closet space and an air conditioner. The window looks out at the manicured grounds. The kitchen is small but has everything you should need. There is no oven or dishwasher but there is a cook top, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot and a normal sized refrigerator. There are two water filtering systems. One is used by the entire complex and another one is located in the closet of the master bedroom. We also have internet and cable TV. There is a DVD player and a well stocked DVD collection. To walk to the closest beach, "Playa La Ropa", you will have an easy 5 minute walk downhill, to get back up is more of a challenge, but will still only take you about 7 minutes. (If you want, it is easy to grab a taxi for this) There are numerous restaurants located on the beach. We haven't tried them all, but they all seem pretty much the same. The operators of these restaurants will require that you eat or drink at their place to reserve a seat under an umbrella. You may also pay around 50 pesos ($3.50) to reserve these. The ocean is very calm here, since it is in a bay, and very warm. (In June it is around 90 degrees and in December it is around 83 degrees) To get to town you can either walk or take a taxi. The walk will take about 20 minutes, and there are a couple of little hills along the way. (The sidewalk and road have just been updated) We like to walk to town, get something to eat or purchase groceries, and then grab a taxi back. There are many restaurants and places to shop in Zihuatanejo. Groceries can be purchased at "Comercial Mexicana" which is located along the canal. (You can send us an email and we can explain all of this to you) This complex has 24 hour security and two infinity edge pools. The ground keepers are constantly working to maintain the grounds. They are beautiful. Zihuatanejo is very safe. So come and ENJOY
